Since having joined forces in 1988, Philippa and Alan have combined over 80 years of experience and knowledge in the areas of French polishing and furniture restoration.
They also deal with with cabinet making and upholstery and for this reason, have a lot of local craftsmen available to carry out work in the areas of expertise they do not specialise in.
With their knowledge of French polishing, they have produced the most authoritive book about French polishing to date, the 6th edition is due to be reprinted in 2011. There is also a companion video/DVD. All are titled "French Polishing".
